As a young man, I looked up to my father who was an orthodontist, and who put braces on me at the age of 10. I have been interested in science all my life; I was involved in many science fairs and eventually did some dental research, where I really developed a love for orthodontics. I spent countless hours in the universities as I watched my dad teach, and I was able to learn skills in a dental lab. While I enjoy many aspects of dentistry, I am most enthusiastic about orthodontics and developing relationships with my patients throughout their treatment.
